Divorce Attorney Gregory Moore Charged with Murdering Client Aliza Sherman

Gregory J. Moore, a former divorce attorney, has been arrested and indicted for the 2013 murder of his former client, Aliza Sherman, a Cleveland Clinic nurse. Prosecutors allege Moore lured Sherman to his downtown Cleveland office, where she was fatally stabbed more than ten times, as part of a plan to delay her impending divorce trial. The indictment claims Moore's motive was to prevent Sherman from attending court proceedings and that he may have had at least one accomplice. Moore previously served jail time for lying to police about his whereabouts during the murder and for calling in bomb threats to delay trials.
