Enmas EPC Raises ₹57 Crore to Expand Biomass, Biogas, Waste-to-Energy Operations Globally
Enmas EPC Power Projects, a leading EPC solutions provider in the power and process industries, has successfully raised ₹57 crore in its inaugural funding round led by Ahead Venture Fund, managed by Abakkus Asset Manager LLP, and investor Amit Agarwal. Additional participation came from various family offices, venture funds, and high-net-worth individuals. The capital will be used to expand the company’s execution capabilities in biomass, biogas, and waste-to-energy sectors, while targeting high-value international opportunities amid growing demand for large-scale energy infrastructure. Enmas EPC has a robust track record, having executed over 700 MW of power projects and more than 2,000 MW in boilers and balance of plant contracts across 14 countries, with expertise in renewable energy including Bio-CNG/Renewable Natural Gas. Managing Director Alur Chakrapani emphasized that the strategic investment will accelerate global expansion and enable delivery of cutting-edge renewable and thermal projects with enhanced speed and precision. Meanwhile, Enphase Energy secured about $50 million through a safe harbor agreement ensuring eligibility for investment tax credits on U.S.-made IQ8HC microinverters, supporting its role in third-party ownership solar projects and promoting clean energy deployment despite policy shifts in the U.S.
