Dublin GAA Appoints All-Ireland Winner Ger Brennan Manager
Ger Brennan, a two-time All-Ireland winning player with Dublin, has been appointed as the new senior football manager for Dublin GAA on a three-year term. Brennan, who played for St Vincent's and led Louth to a historic Leinster title in 2025—their first since 1957—stepped down from his role with Louth to take charge of his native county following Dessie Farrell's departure. Dublin GAA chairman Ken O'Sullivan praised Brennan's achievements and expressed full support for his leadership as the team aims for further success in coming years. Brennan's backroom team will be announced in due course, with the possibility of retaining some members from his Louth setup and involving former teammates as coaches or selectors. Dublin is currently in a transitional phase, having been eliminated at the All-Ireland quarter-final stage in the last two seasons, and Brennan is expected to bring a fresh approach to the side. Outside of football, Brennan works as a Gaelic Games Development Executive at UCD and is married with four young children.
