Travis Hunter Sr. Arrested Over Probation Monitoring Violation

Travis Hunter Sr., father of Jacksonville Jaguars rookie and Heisman Trophy winner Travis Hunter Jr., was arrested in Palm Beach County, Florida, for allegedly violating probation after his electronic ankle monitor lost signal for 11 minutes on June 28. Authorities determined the device was functioning correctly and found Hunter Sr.'s explanations for the lapse inconsistent. His probation consists of one year of electronic monitoring and two years of standard probation following a 2023 conviction for gun and drug charges, as well as a prior 2018 heroin conviction. Hunter Sr. remains jailed without bond pending a court hearing, with his attorney arguing the violation is minor.
