Zorro Raises $20M Series A to Scale AI-Powered Healthcare Benefits
Zorro, an AI-powered benefits administration platform, has raised $20 million in a Series A funding round led by Entrée Capital with participation from existing investors 10D and Pitango to expand its personalized healthcare solutions. The platform leverages Individual Coverage Health Reimbursement Arrangements (ICHRA) to help employers replace traditional group plans with a flexible, defined contribution model, allowing better budget predictability and personalized employee coverage. Using AI and thousands of data points, Zorro enables brokers to compare plans in real-time, employers to allocate fixed budgets with tax-free stipends, and employees to select plans tailored to their healthcare needs and financial risk tolerance. Since its launch, Zorro has experienced over an 800% increase in enrollments for 2025, with 75% of employees choosing plans directly via the platform and clients saving more than 20% on premiums compared to traditional plans. CEO Guy Ezekiel emphasized that Zorro aims to integrate health and wealth planning by offering a scalable alternative to costly, one-size-fits-all group coverage. The new funding will support scaling operations, customer growth, technological enhancements, and additional features like integrated payments and financial planning tools.
