Ryde, Concorde Plan Security Jobs for Drivers in Singapore

Ryde Group Ltd. and Concorde International Group Ltd. have formed a strategic partnership to expand job opportunities for Ryde’s driver-partners by allowing them to take on short-term, on-demand security assignments across Singapore’s facilities management and security sectors. This initiative aims to diversify income streams for drivers while addressing manpower shortages in various industries such as office, retail, hospitality, industrial, and healthcare. Concorde will provide specialized training and certifications to up to 5,000 Ryde drivers, who will then be matched with security and facilities jobs through a tech-driven system incorporating AI and IoT technologies to optimize service delivery. The partnership aligns with Ryde’s “7 Driver Commitments” program, which focuses on increasing flexibility and earnings for its workforce beyond traditional ride-hailing and delivery roles. Operations are expected to launch in October 2025, following completion of training and technology integration. This collaboration represents a significant effort to build a resilient, multi-skilled gig economy platform in Singapore.
