Boynton Beach Police Arrest 19 in Multi-County Drug Trafficking Bust

Boynton Beach police, in a coordinated multi-agency effort with the DEA and other local and state partners, arrested nineteen individuals in a sweeping drug trafficking operation known as Operation Trackside, targeting fentanyl and cocaine distribution in Palm Beach and Broward counties. The fourteen-month investigation culminated in the execution of fifteen search warrants, resulting in the seizure of firearms, vehicles, narcotics, and more than $450,000 in cash. Officials highlighted the collaboration between agencies as crucial to dismantling the network and emphasized the ongoing threat posed by fentanyl to public safety. The arrested individuals, aged 30 to 73, faced charges including drug trafficking, criminal conspiracy, and possession with intent to sell. This operation was partially funded by Florida’s State Assistance for Fentanyl Eradication program, reflecting a statewide commitment to combating opioid-related crimes. Further arrests are expected as authorities continue their efforts to disrupt drug trafficking in the region.
