Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has pledged full support to Modern Automotives Ltd as they prepare to manufacture differential pinion shafts for BMW in Punjab, marking the first such approval for an Indian company. The order consists of 2.5 million units valued at Rs 150 crore, with plans for further investment in development and testing models on-site. Mann is set to lay the foundation stone for the new plant in Mandi Gobindgarh next month, a move anticipated to create thousands of jobs and enhance the state's industrial growth. He emphasized Punjab's supportive investment climate and peaceful environment, which are attracting global companies to the region.
