Modesto Man Dies in Three-Vehicle Crash at Sisk, Standiford

A fatal three-vehicle collision occurred in Modesto on July 19 at the intersection of Sisk Road and Standiford Avenue, resulting in the death of a Modesto man who was driving southbound. According to investigators, the driver struck a pole on the center median, hit a second pole, then crossed into oncoming northbound traffic, colliding with two other vehicles. The man was transported to a hospital but later died from his injuries, while no other injuries were reported. Authorities do not suspect drugs or alcohol were involved, and believe a medical emergency caused the driver to lose control. All involved parties remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation conducted by the Modesto Police Department’s Traffic Safety Unit.
