Revolut Plans $13B Expansion to 100M Users
Revolut will invest $13 billion by the end of the decade to accelerate international expansion and target 100 million customers. The firm plans to enter about 30 new markets by decade-end and pursue a broader goal of operating in around 100 countries. As part of the push Revolut will invest $4 billion in the U.K., create roughly 1,000 U.K. jobs and has opened a new global headquarters in Canary Wharf. The $13 billion package includes previously announced commitments such as $500 million for the U.S. and $1.2 billion for France, with the remainder earmarked for building banking licences, recruitment and operational upgrades. Revolut serves more than 65 million customers, reported a pretax profit of $1.4 billion in 2024, expects over £4 billion in revenue this year, and was valued near $75 billion in a recent secondary sale.
