Animal Cruelty Charges Span Across Multiple States

Recent cases of animal cruelty have resulted in multiple arrests across the United States. In Pontiac, Michigan, Ariel Lowes faces animal cruelty charges after two dogs in her care were euthanized due to severe medical conditions. In Johnstown, Pennsylvania, Kelly Lynn Huff was charged with multiple counts of animal neglect and cruelty after authorities found 19 neglected animals in her residence. In Florence, Alabama, 71-year-old Teresa Gaye Counce was arrested on 82 counts of animal cruelty after 82 dogs were seized from her property, with several dogs housed in overcrowded cages. Lastly, in Helena, Montana, Heather Dawn Prody is facing felony aggravated animal cruelty charges for allegedly malnourishing 25 dogs, which were found without access to food or water.
