Seahawks Acquire Roy Robertson-Harris from Jaguars

The Seattle Seahawks have acquired defensive tackle Roy Robertson-Harris from the Jacksonville Jaguars in exchange for a sixth-round draft pick in 2026. This trade marks the first of the 2024 NFL season, aimed at bolstering the Seahawks' struggling run defense, which ranks among the worst in the league. Robertson-Harris, 31, has played six games this season with two sacks and seven tackles, and he previously signed a three-year extension with the Jaguars in 2023. The Seahawks are currently tied for first place in the NFC West despite a three-game losing streak and significant injuries to key defensive players. Robertson-Harris will travel extensively to join the Seahawks in time for their upcoming game against Atlanta. Jacksonville, on the other hand, incurs $3.4 million in dead money from the trade.
