Mahomes, Kelce Steakhouse to Open This Year

Kansas City Chiefs stars Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce are launching their new steakhouse, 1587 Prime, in downtown Kansas City’s Loews Hotel, with the opening now expected later this year rather than late 2025. The pair recently showcased their excitement in an Instagram video featuring dishes like tajima wagyu beef, togarashi fried chicken, a steak flight, and a selection of gourmet butters. The 10,000-square-foot, two-floor restaurant will include football-inspired décor such as a stadium tunnel entrance, red marbling on tables, and themed artwork. The name 1587 Prime combines their jersey numbers, and the venture is in partnership with hospitality group Noble 33. Mahomes and Kelce emphasized the restaurant’s distinct dining experience while confirming their continued NFL focus. Although the exact opening date remains unannounced, the launch is expected soon, timed with the upcoming NFL season.
