The Smile, the band featuring Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood, has announced their new album titled Cutouts, set for release on October 4, 2024. This album follows their successful sophomore release, Wall of Eyes, which debuted earlier this year. Alongside the announcement, the band released two new singles, 'Foreign Spies' and 'Zero Sum,' both of which come with a music video directed by Weirdcore. Cutouts was recorded concurrently with Wall of Eyes at Oxford and Abbey Road Studios, and includes contributions from the London Contemporary Orchestra. The album will consist of ten tracks, including previously released songs 'Don't Get Me Started' and 'The Slip'. Following a recent health scare that led to the cancellation of their summer tour, the band is preparing for upcoming projects, including Thom Yorke's solo tour later this year.
