Republicans Win Key Legislative Races

Republican K.C. Tomlinson successfully defended her seat in Pennsylvania's 18th Legislative District against Democrat Anand Patel, securing 55.5% of the vote. In Michigan, incumbent Republican Bradley Slagh was reelected to the 85th House seat with a commanding 70.4% of the vote, defeating Democrat Marcia Mansaray. Meanwhile, in Louisiana, Rep. Troy Carter retained his position in the 2nd Congressional District with 54% support, avoiding a runoff, and state Sen. Cleo Fields won the newly redrawn 6th District. Indiana's Matt Pierce won his uncontested race for State House District 61, extending his long-term service since 2002. Lastly, in Kentucky, Scott Lewis defeated challenger Chanda Garner to continue representing District 14, expressing gratitude for the community's support.
