Edmonton Man Charged With First-Degree Murder After Woman Found Shot in SUV

Edmonton police have charged 42-year-old Kyle Laumen with first-degree murder, aggravated assault, and breach of probation in connection with the fatal shooting of 39-year-old Priscilla McGreer. McGreer was found dead inside an SUV near 119 Street and Jasper Avenue early Saturday morning, with an autopsy confirming she died from gunshot wounds. Authorities reported that the victim and the accused knew each other. Following the incident, police shut down streets along Jasper Avenue for several hours to conduct their investigation. Residents and businesses were asked to review security and dash camera footage from the time of the shooting to assist investigators. The charges against Laumen have yet to be tested in court.
