Multiple Connecticut Men Sentenced for Child Sexual Assaults

Aaron Fullerton, a 48-year-old man from East Hartford, has been sentenced to 13 years in prison for sexually abusing a minor over a four-month period between 2020 and 2021. He was found guilty on multiple charges, including second-degree sexual assault and risk of injury to a minor, with the verdict reached by a jury in October 2024. The abuse was reported by the victim to her mother, leading to an investigation by the East Hartford Police Department. Fullerton will serve 30 years in prison, with 13 years executed and 20 years of probation following his release. State’s Attorney Sharmese L. Walcott emphasized the importance of holding sexual violence perpetrators accountable. In a separate case, David Plowman, a 60-year-old man from Brainerd, was sentenced to 12 years in prison for first-degree criminal sexual conduct involving a seven-year-old girl, having entered an Alford plea.
