Memphis Man Arrested For March Murder Of Rapper Sayso P

Kevin “KJ” Brown Jr., 23, was arrested by U.S. Marshals in Clarksville, Tennessee, for his alleged involvement in the March 22 downtown Memphis shooting that killed rapper Sayso P (Latorian Hunt) and critically injured rapper Sauce Walka (Albert Mondane). Brown faces charges including first-degree murder, two counts of felony criminal attempt, two counts of employing a firearm during a dangerous felony, and theft of property. The shooting involved multiple gunmen who opened fire outside the Westin Hotel before fleeing the scene. Another suspect, Jayden Dandridge, who was also involved in the shooting, was found dead in Houston before he could be arrested. Brown was apprehended without incident at a motel and is currently held at Montgomery County Jail awaiting extradition to Memphis. Sayso P had been visiting Memphis from Miami to see a sick relative at the time of the shooting.
