Princess Royal appointed President of 2025 Devon County Show

The Devon County Agricultural Association (DCAA) has appointed Her Royal Highness, The Princess Royal, as President for the 2025 Devon County Show, a decision announced during the annual meeting on January 31st. The Princess Royal, known for her commitment to food, farming, and rural life, succeeds Michelin-star chef Michael Caines in this role. She operates her own farm in Gloucestershire and is noted for her history as the first royal to compete in the Olympics. Supporting her will be Deputy President Roger Ellis, a fourth-generation farmer with a long-standing connection to the event. Ellis expressed his honor in this role, especially as he and his wife celebrate their diamond wedding anniversary in 2025. The Devon County Show is scheduled to take place from May 15 to 17 at the Westpoint Arena near Exeter.
