Winter Storm Leads to School Closures

In response to hazardous road conditions caused by a recent winter storm, several schools across the Piedmont Triad area of North Carolina will operate remotely or remain closed on Monday, January 13. Stokes County Schools and Guilford County Schools are among those shifting to remote learning, while Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools will be closed entirely. In West Michigan, light lake-effect snow is expected, but school closures are unlikely on Monday, with a higher chance for Tuesday. Meanwhile, Huntsville City Schools and other districts in North Alabama will maintain normal operations. Several school districts in Middle Tennessee are also announcing closures or delayed starts due to icy conditions.
