Woman 77 Dies After Car Crashes Into Tree in Yorkshire
Two fatal car crashes involving elderly women occurred recently in different locations. In New Hartford, an 88-year-old woman lost control of her vehicle, which left the roadway, went over several lawns, and struck a tree; she was taken to a hospital in serious condition. Separately, in Hemsworth, Yorkshire, 77-year-old Joan Bell died at the scene after her Ford KA left the road and collided with a tree on Pontefract Road while traveling southbound. West Yorkshire Police are investigating Joan Bell's crash as a major collision and have appealed to the public for any information or footage related to the incident. Both investigations remain ongoing as authorities seek to understand the circumstances leading to these tragedies.
