Nebius Launches GPU Cluster in Paris

Nebius, the rebranded European arm of Yandex, has announced a significant investment of over $1 billion to enhance AI infrastructure in Europe by mid-2025, including the launch of a new GPU cluster in Paris featuring NVIDIA’s H200 Tensor Core GPUs. CEO Arkady Volozh emphasized the need for substantial capital and technology to compete in the AI arena, noting that their Finnish data center already serves AI developers globally. The company plans to expand its capabilities by constructing two additional data centers in undisclosed locations and enhancing its existing facility in Finland. With this strategy, Nebius aims to establish itself as a leading global AI infrastructure provider, leveraging its experienced workforce and strategic partnerships with NVIDIA.
