The newly renovated Children's Nature Park in Guindy, inaugurated by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, spans 22 acres and features significant upgrades amounting to ₹30 crore, funded by the State government and corporate social responsibility contributions. A highlight of the park is a large aviary, covering nearly 30,000 sq. ft., designed for various bird species typically found in Vedanthangal, providing a unique observation experience. Additional amenities include a newly constructed air-conditioned library with around 1,000 books, a Wildlife Awareness Centre, and upgraded enclosures for animals like deer and gharials. The park has improved ticketing facilities with QR-based payments, and prices are set at ₹60 for adults and ₹10 for children. Visitors can also enjoy two cafeterias, enhancing the overall experience. The park aims to promote education and wildlife awareness through LED information boards installed near each enclosure.
