Paul Pogba in Talks for Transfer to Marseille

Paul Pogba is in talks with Olympique Marseille regarding a potential transfer as he prepares to leave Juventus, where his contract is expected to be terminated. The French midfielder is currently serving an 18-month ban for doping, reduced from an initial four years, allowing him to return to training in January and play in March. After a challenging stint at Manchester United, Pogba's time at Juventus has been marred by injuries and the doping incident, leading the club to view his future as uncertain. Initial discussions have occurred between Pogba's representatives and Marseille, although no formal negotiations have begun. Additionally, MLS clubs are also interested in signing Pogba should he become a free agent. Marseille's sporting director, Mehdi Benatia, has reached out to gauge Pogba's interest in joining the team.
