Brandon Vazquez Joins Austin FC from Monterrey

Austin FC has officially signed striker Brandon Vázquez from Liga MX club Monterrey for a club-record transfer fee of approximately $10 million. The 26-year-old, who has signed a four-year contract through 2028 with an option for 2029, previously excelled in MLS with FC Cincinnati, earning accolades such as MLS Best XI and All-Star honors. Vázquez scored 14 goals in his single season at Monterrey after moving from Cincinnati, where he had a successful stint, contributing to the team's Supporters' Shield victory in 2023. He has also made an impact on the international stage with four goals in 11 matches for the U.S. men's national team.
