Four Men Charged After Cocaine Seizure at Sea

Four men have been charged with drug offenses after approximately one tonne of cocaine was seized from a fishing boat named Lily Lola off the coast of Newquay, Cornwall. The National Crime Agency (NCA) reported that the drugs, valued at around £100 million, were intercepted by Border Force officers on Friday. The charged individuals include Michael Kelly (45), Jon Paul Williams (46), Patrick Godfrey (30), and Jake Marchant (26), all of whom are currently in custody and set to appear at Bodmin Magistrates' Court on Monday. NCA authorities described the seizure as a significant blow to an organized crime group, emphasizing that the cocaine's distribution could have contributed to serious violence and county lines exploitation. Images released show the seized packages labeled 'pezx', highlighting the scale of the operation.
