Waterfront Land Next to Jeff Bezos Listed for $200 Million

A 1.84-acre vacant lot on Indian Creek Island, Florida, is up for sale at $200 million, attracting attention due to its proximity to Amazon founder Jeff Bezos' properties. The island, known as 'Billionaire Bunker', is home to several high-profile residents and offers 200 feet of waterfront along Biscayne Bay, suitable for a deep-water dock for a megayacht. Listing broker Ilya Reznik indicated that the owners originally planned to build but opted to sell after changing their plans; they purchased the land for $27.5 million in 2018. Reznik emphasized that the asking price reflects the desirability of being neighbors with Bezos, who has invested heavily in the area, including three properties worth approximately $90 million. Despite its steep price, the lot is expected to set a record for the region, even if it does not sell at the full asking price. The island features strict security measures, accessible only via a bridge, adding to its exclusivity.
