Disney's Lion King Pop-Up Exhibition Celebrates Milestones in London

Disney's THE LION KING is celebrating significant milestones with a free pop-up exhibition at Battersea Power Station from February 17-23, 2025. This event marks the 10,000th performance and the 20 millionth guest for the London production, which has been running for 26 years at the Lyceum Theatre. Visitors will have the opportunity to engage with the iconic masks, puppets, and costumes, including characters like Rafiki, Zazu, Mufasa, Simba, and Nala, while learning about the artistry behind the designs. Additionally, Disney Teaching Artists will conduct workshops for families throughout the week, enhancing the immersive experience. The exhibition not only aims to entertain but also to educate attendees about the theatrical production process. This initiative reflects Disney's strategy to capture audience interest by creating unique experiences beyond traditional theater settings.
