The CBI's chargesheet, filed in May 2023, accuses Tytler of inciting and provoking the mob, with witnesses claiming he arrived in a white Ambassador car and incited violence. Tytler has consistently denied the allegations, claiming there is no evidence against him. The court set September 13 for formal framing of charges, where Tytler will enter his plea.
