Ryan Theis Appointed Florida Women's Volleyball Coach

Ryan Theis has been appointed as the new head coach for the Florida Gators women's volleyball team, succeeding the legendary Mary Wise, who retired after 34 seasons and 1,068 career wins. Theis returns to Florida nearly two decades after serving as an assistant under Wise, bringing with him a successful tenure from Marquette, where he led the team to 10 NCAA tournaments and three Big East titles. During his time at Marquette, Theis achieved the highest winning percentage in the program's history, solidifying his reputation as a program builder. Mary Wise's legacy includes transforming Florida into a volleyball powerhouse with 18 consecutive SEC titles, a feat Theis aims to continue.
