UK's longest bratwurst

The Castle pub in Droitwich Spa has created a 12.12-meter bratwurst, claimed to be the UK's longest, to celebrate Oktoberfest. This record-breaking sausage, made using a traditional German recipe, symbolizes the 1,212-kilometer distance to Munich's Theresienwiese, the festival's birthplace. The bratwurst was unveiled during a vibrant event featuring an Oompah band and various Oktoberfest-themed games, drawing large crowds eager to partake. The creation took weeks of preparation and was cooked to perfection, served with toppings such as crispy onions and curry ketchup. Local manager Rebecca Hall expressed excitement about bringing the authentic Oktoberfest experience to Droitwich, while Marc Razzell from 'The Sausage Man' highlighted the tradition behind the recipe.
