IDF eliminates 11 terrorists linked to October 7 massacre in Gaza strikes
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and Shin Bet announced the killing of 12 terrorists involved in the October 7 Hamas attack, including Haitham Razek Abd al-Karim Sheikh Khalil, the head of the Shejaiya Battalion, during a recent airstrike in Gaza City. Khalil was implicated in the command of the infiltration into Kibbutz Nir Oz, where significant casualties occurred. In addition, 11 other terrorists linked to the massacre have been targeted in military operations since the resumption of hostilities in March, with several identified for their roles in kidnappings and murders of Israeli civilians and soldiers. Notable figures among those killed include Hassan Na'em and Ismail Shakash, both accused of violent acts during the attack. The IDF emphasized its efforts to minimize civilian harm during these operations while asserting that Hamas exploits civilians as shields. The military reiterated its commitment to pursuing all individuals involved in the October 7 massacre.
