A24 Acquires Domestic Rights for Victorian Psycho

A24 has acquired the U.S. distribution rights to 'Victorian Psycho', a psychological thriller directed by Zachary Wigon and starring Margaret Qualley and Thomasin McKenzie. The film, adapted from Virginia Feito’s upcoming novel, follows an eccentric governess, Winifred Notty, who arrives at a Gothic manor and hides her psychopathic tendencies as strange occurrences unfold. Production is set to begin in March 2025, though a release date has not yet been announced. The project aligns with A24's ongoing interest in psychological horror, reinforcing its reputation for supporting unique narratives in the genre. Feito's novel will be released in February 2025, adding to the film's anticipation. The international rights are held by Anton, which is also financing the project.
