Two Men Charged with Brother's Fatal Shooting in Fern Creek, Kentucky

A man named Darryl Burnett Jr. was fatally shot at an apartment complex in Fern Creek, Louisville, early Sunday morning. Police arrested two men, Darrel Burnett and Kailai Paige, both brothers of the victim, in connection with the shooting. According to investigators, Paige was involved in a physical altercation with the victim and shot him in the leg, which surveillance video confirmed. The video also showed Darrel Burnett firing a rifle and shooting Darryl Burnett Jr. in the head, resulting in his death at UofL Health Hospital. The two suspects face charges of murder and second-degree assault and are due in court next week.
