Brendan DuBois Indicted on Child Abuse Charges

Bestselling author Brendan DuBois has been indicted on six felony counts related to the possession of child sexual abuse materials, following his arrest in July in New Hampshire. A Rockingham County grand jury found sufficient evidence to warrant a trial, with DuBois due to be arraigned on October 23. The indictment stems from a cyber tip about child pornography linked to DuBois, leading to a police search that uncovered numerous explicit images. His publisher, Severn River Publishing, has responded by suspending all promotion and sales of his books, emphasizing respect for the legal process. DuBois, who has co-authored several novels with James Patterson, remains in preventative detention as authorities cite public safety concerns. His attorney has not commented on the pending charges.
