EA Launches Battlefield 6 In-Game Radio and Spotify Playlist Featuring Top Artists

Electronic Arts (EA) and Battlefield Studios have launched the first-ever official Battlefield playlist alongside the popular game Battlefield 6 and its new free-to-play mode, REDSEC. This in-game feature includes radio stations installed in vehicles across multiplayer modes, offering a diverse range of music genres such as rock, pop, rap, and electronic music, with exclusive content for Battlefield Pro Battlepass owners. The soundtrack features renowned artists like Limp Bizkit, Bob Dylan, Godsmack, Drowning Pool, Pantera, Snoop Dogg, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Dr. Dre, with Limp Bizkit re-recording their hit "Break Stuff" for the game. In partnership with Spotify, EA has also curated an Official Battlefield Playlist encompassing tracks from the entire Battlefield franchise, which has already surpassed 20 million streams. Steve Schnur, President of EA Music Group, highlighted the unprecedented collaboration between gaming and music culture that Battlefield 6 represents, blending cinematic scores with iconic tracks to enhance the gaming experience. This initiative marks a significant evolution in game soundtracks, merging interactive gaming with rich musical experiences both in-game and on streaming platforms.
