Fans of the musical 'Wicked' are reportedly walking out of the West End show during intermission to avoid spoilers for the upcoming second installment of the film adaptation, causing frustration among the cast and staff. This behavior has been noted at the Apollo Theatre Victoria, where employees have expressed their annoyance at the 'rude' theatregoers, stating it is unfair to the performers who work hard on the production. The film version of 'Wicked' was released in two parts, with the first part debuting in November and the sequel, titled 'Wicked: For Good,' set to release this November. Despite the original story being published in 1995 and the Broadway debut in 2003, many new fans are unfamiliar with the plot's conclusion, prompting their early exits.
