42 Defensive Players Named to 2025 Lott IMPACT Trophy Watch List

The 2025 Lott IMPACT® Trophy watch list has been announced, featuring 42 top defensive college football players recognized for their impact both on and off the field. The list includes standout players such as South Carolina's edge rusher Dylan Stewart and defensive back Jalon Kilgore, as well as Clemson's defensive end T.J. Parker and defensive tackle Peter Woods. Alabama veterans LT Overton and Deontae Lawson have also been named to the watch list, highlighting their significant contributions and leadership roles on their team. The award, named after NFL Hall of Famer Ronnie Lott, honors players who exemplify Integrity, Maturity, Performance, Academics, Community, and Tenacity. Selection is made by a national voter panel comprising former winners, media members, coaches, and The IMPACT Foundation's board. The annual winner, who exemplifies both athletic excellence and character, will be announced in December.
