Ford is recalling over 355,000 trucks from the 2025 and 2026 model years, including F-150, F-250, F-350, F-450, and F-550 models, due to a malfunction in the digital instrument panel cluster (IPC) that can cause the dashboard to remain blank at startup. This issue prevents drivers from seeing critical information such as vehicle speed, fuel levels, and warning lights, potentially increasing the risk of crashes. The problem stems from a memory fault during the startup sequence, and while Ford has received 95 warranty claims, no accidents or injuries have been reported. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has flagged this as a safety concern, as the failure violates federal vehicle safety standards.
