NASA, SpaceX Update Crew-11 and Starlink Launches
NASA and SpaceX have completed the Flight Readiness Review for the Crew-11 mission, now scheduled to launch no earlier than 12:09 p.m. EDT on July 31, 2025, from Kennedy Space Center. The crew consists of NASA’s Zena Cardman and Mike Fincke, JAXA’s Kimiya Yui, and Roscosmos’ Oleg Platonov, with Cardman and Platonov making their first spaceflights. Crew-11 marks NASA’s 11th crew rotation and 12th human spaceflight to the ISS using SpaceX’s Dragon spacecraft since 2020. NASA will provide comprehensive launch coverage and interactive virtual guest experiences. In addition, a separate early-morning SpaceX Falcon 9 launch carrying 28 Starlink satellites was visible across Eastern Carolina and several U.S. regions. Preparations are also underway for an upcoming SpaceX resupply mission to the ISS set for August.
