Two Skydivers Die in Tandem Jump Accident at Devon Aerodrome
Two skydivers, Belinda Taylor and Adam Harrison, tragically died during a tandem jump at Dunkeswell Aerodrome in Devon. Emergency services were called to the scene on June 13, and both were pronounced dead at the site, with their families informed. The incident is under investigation by Devon and Cornwall Police, British Skydiving, East Devon District Council Environmental Health and Safety Office, and other relevant authorities including the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA). British Skydiving has launched a Board of Inquiry, which will produce a report with conclusions and recommendations for the coroner, police, CAA, and British Skydiving Safety & Training Committee. Dunkeswell Aerodrome, known for offering some of the highest tandem skydives in the UK, continues to cooperate fully with the investigation while asking for privacy for those affected. Scene guards remain in place and authorities have requested that anyone with information contact the police.
