Fayis Asraf Ali, a 37-year-old cyclist from Kerala, has completed an impressive 22,000-kilometer journey from Calicut to Paris, arriving just in time to support Indian javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra at the upcoming 2024 Olympics. Starting his journey on August 15, 2022, Ali initially aimed to cycle from India to London to promote peace and unity but altered his plans after meeting Chopra in Budapest, where he was inspired to cheer for him in Paris. Equipped with a Surly bicycle and minimal gear, Ali traversed 30 countries without staying in hotels, relying on the kindness of people he met along the way.
