Swansea City Signs Goalkeeper Lawrence Vigouroux

Swansea City has officially signed goalkeeper Lawrence Vigouroux from Burnley for an undisclosed fee, securing him on a two-year contract with an option to extend until 2027. The 30-year-old, who previously worked with Swansea head coach Luke Williams at Swindon Town, has joined his new teammates at a pre-season training camp in Austria, where he aims to establish himself as the club's number one goalkeeper. With Carl Rushworth returning to Brighton, Vigouroux's addition provides crucial competition alongside current goalkeepers Andy Fisher and Nathan Broome. Throughout his career, Vigouroux has played for several clubs, including Brentford and Liverpool, and had notable success at Leyton Orient, where he earned multiple accolades. His arrival marks Swansea's third summer signing, following the acquisitions of midfielder Gonçalo Franco and forward Eom Ji-sung.
