Francesco Bagnaia of Ducati Lenovo won his third consecutive Dutch MotoGP, reducing the gap to championship leader Jorge Martin to just 10 points. Bagnaia, who also won the sprint race on Saturday, led from start to finish at the Assen circuit, finishing 3.676 seconds ahead of Martin. Enea Bastianini completed the podium in third place. Martin, who started fifth due to a three-place grid penalty for impeding another rider in qualifying, managed to recover but could not overtake Bagnaia. Bagnaia's victory marks his fifth win in eight rounds this season, making him the first rider since Mick Doohan to win three consecutive races at Assen. This performance bolsters Bagnaia's bid for a third consecutive world title.
