XPeng Projects Over 90,000 EV Deliveries in Q1 2025
XPeng, the Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer, reported robust fourth-quarter results, with a revenue of 16.11 billion yuan, surpassing analyst expectations. The company delivered 91,507 vehicles in Q4, marking a 52.1% year-on-year increase, and expects to deliver between 91,000 and 93,000 units in Q1 2025, projecting revenue growth of 15 to 15.7 billion yuan. CEO He Xiaopeng expressed confidence that XPeng will more than double its total deliveries in 2025, driven by the launch of new, competitively priced models like the G6 and G9 SUVs. These models are equipped with advanced features, including the Turing AI smart driving system, which is anticipated to attract more customers. Additionally, XPeng is expanding into European markets through partnerships with distributors, positioning itself for significant growth beyond China. The company's focus on technology-driven cost reductions aims to enhance vehicle margins and move towards profitability by late 2025.
