Oasis Guitarist Arthurs Pauses Tour, Expects Nov. 15–16 Return
Paul “Bonehead” Arthurs, a founding guitarist of Oasis, announced he was diagnosed with prostate cancer earlier this year and will take a planned break from the band’s Live ’25 reunion tour to undergo the next phase of treatment. He said he is responding well to treatment and managed to perform during the tour’s earlier legs but will miss upcoming shows in Seoul, Tokyo, Melbourne and Sydney. Arthurs expects to rejoin Oasis for the South America dates in Buenos Aires, which are scheduled for Nov. 15–16. The band shared his statement and fans, family and colleagues posted messages of support online. Arthurs previously had tonsil cancer in 2022 and was later given the all-clear; the reunion tour began on July 4 in Cardiff.
