Starlink Upgrades Service, Expands in Canada and Vietnam

SpaceX is set to launch its third-generation Starlink satellites within the next 6 to 9 months, offering over a terabit per second of downlink capacity and ultra-low latency, a tenfold improvement over previous versions, pending Starship readiness and regulatory approvals. Falcon 9 missions continue to add satellites to low-Earth orbit. In Canada, SpaceX's cellular Starlink service is in beta with Rogers, currently supporting SMS and planning to expand to voice and data, and will be available to users on rival carriers after beta. The service aims to improve connectivity in rural and remote areas. Vietnam is preparing to license Starlink for a pilot launch by late 2025, subject to regulatory procedures.
