Valkyries Rally Past Fever in Sixth Straight Sellout
The Golden State Valkyries rallied from a double-digit deficit to defeat the Indiana Fever 88-77 before a sold-out Chase Center, marking their sixth consecutive home sellout as an expansion franchise. Caitlin Clark was held to 11 points on 3-for-14 shooting, missed all seven three-point attempts, but added nine assists, seven rebounds, and committed six turnovers. Indiana built a 13-point lead behind Aliyah Boston’s 17 points and 12 rebounds, but the Valkyries surged in the fourth quarter, outscoring the Fever 33-18. Kayla Thornton led Golden State with 16 points, while Tiffany Hayes contributed 14 and Chloe Bibby provided key bench scoring. The Valkyries' defense forced 16 Indiana turnovers, disrupting their offensive rhythm. Acting head coach Austin Kelly filled in for Stephanie White, who missed the game for personal reasons.
