2026 Ram 1500 Express Debuts as Value Pickup

Ram has launched the 2026 Ram 1500 Express, a value-focused full-size pickup aimed at filling the gap left by the discontinued 1500 Classic and positioned above the Tradesman but below the Big Horn trim. Starting at $44,495, the Express offers modern features such as 20-inch wheels, adaptive cruise control, and a choice between a standard 305-horsepower Pentastar V6 or an optional 420-horsepower Hurricane inline-six engine. Buyers can choose between Quad or Crew Cab configurations, rear- or four-wheel drive, and five monochromatic color options. The Black Express package adds sporty styling and interior upgrades for $995, while the Express itself features gloss-black grille surrounds, body-color bumpers, and minimal badging. Notably, the model does not offer a V8 Hemi engine. This launch is part of CEO Tim Kuniskis' plan to roll out 25 new vehicles within 18 months, targeting customers seeking affordable trucks after recent price increases and sales declines.
