Rep. Thomas Massie Marries Former Rand Paul Staffer Amid Political Support

Rep. Thomas Massie of Kentucky announced his marriage to Carolyn Grace Moffa, a former agriculture policy staffer for Senator Rand Paul, on October 19. The couple met professionally over a decade ago, and Moffa was noted as an early proponent of the "Making America Healthy Again" initiative. Massie remarried just over a year after the passing of his first wife, Rhonda, with whom he had a 31-year marriage, four adult children, and three grandchildren. Their wedding included notable GOP figures such as Senator Rand Paul and Representatives Jim Jordan, Warren Davidson, Marjorie Taylor Greene, and Victoria Spartz. The ceremony featured personal touches like serving raw milk and margaritas made from peaches from Massie's farm, and the couple plans to reside on the Kentucky farm while traveling between Washington, D.C., and Kentucky. Massie also highlighted that he proposed on the steps of the Library of Congress, where they had their first date.
